Determining Ackerman Angle
( View looking toward rear axle ) The string is attached to the front spindle and the center of the rear axle. This is used to find the attachment
point for the tie rod to the steering arm. The correct turning angles for the inside and outside wheels are maintained by placing the attachment
point along this line.
